Correspondence describes traveling, Dr. Lee Palmer's medical practice, Lee Palmer, Jr.'s education in New Mexico and Texas, and patriotic societies. Also includes love letters from the early twentieth century. The Palmer-Joyes Family is an old Louisville family. The collection begins with Adele Albrecht and her husband Lee Palmer. During World War I, Palmer served as an artillerist in the United States Army but was stationed in the states.
